Election Predictions and a little Humor

Based on YOUR research of articles& polls, make your predictions about the election.

Who will win the electoral college vote?
Who will win the popular vote?
Will one side or the other blame voter fraud when they don't win?

And now...a little humor from both sides:

Joss Whedon "endorses" Romney

SNL spoofs debates

"Obama" speaks to Ohio voters

You only have to make your own comment as far as predictions. Bonus points will be given for finding additional humor from either side (**Must be school appropriate!) include a link :)

Okay..now for the answering of the questions..
I believe that due to the world wide web, and thanks to CNN.com (http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2012/ecalculator#?battleground) President Obama is going to win the Electoral college, since he is ahead of Mitt Romney 237-206. And a lot of people are saying that Romney is going to win the popular vote, but lose the electoral college vote. And I believe that on election day people are going to ask for a recount to see if either Romney or Obama actually won.

    1. I agree with Mercedes that people are going to want a recount because the amount of votes are going to be very close.

  2. i think that Obama will win the electoral and popular vote, but honestly you never know things may happen between now and election day. Romney may complain about the votes if Obama wins.

  3. I believe Mitt will win the Electoral college but as far as the popular vote goes Barack would be ahead. The TV news media is a bunch of biased shenanigans and the real answers or all over the internet. With such web sites as CNN.com and my favorite talk shows on comedy central.

This video helped explain electoral college nicely and bleeped out profanity

  4. Mitt Romney will win the electoral college vote, but Obama will win the popular vote. I think Romney will claim voter fraud when he doesn't win, because he seems overly anxious to win. At least, to me anyways.

  5. I think that Obama would win the popular vote, and I'm on the fence about who would win the electoral vote. There would most likely be one candidate accusing the other of voter fraud, most likely Romney, since he doesn't seem like a person who would accept losing very well.

  6. I believe Obama will win the popular vote and the electoral college but only by a slim margin. Hopefully Romney will play the blame card and claim voter fraud to add some drama.

  10. From what I looked up I believe that Obama will win both the electoral and popular votes. And there will be a close tide, but overall obama will win whatsoever my reason will be... http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/2012_elections_electoral_college_map.html

At the end who ever side is to lose, the losing side will of course accuse the winning side for fraud and cheating simply because they lost.

  11. This is a really close election, but I feel that Obama is going to win both the electoral and popular votes. Things might go differently from now to the election day, but in the end if Mitt Romney loses the election he will accuse Obama for voter fraud, but if Obama loses I don't think he will make a big deal about it.

  15. According to the electoral map in NY Times, Obama will win the Electoral College. As of now, Obama has 243 electoral votes while Romney has 206. Romney though, is in the leading with the popular votes, so there will be some tension when Obama wins. Romney will probably accuse him of voter fraud because he seems like he wants to win so bad. The election of 2000 might actually reappear with this year's election.

Just because Romney's character makes him seem like he's not used to loosing ;)

I do not think that they would accuse each other of voter fraud, becuase we are able to see the whole election process.

Romney has made a bad figureof himself through the debates and in my eyes, will lose the popular vote. As far as polls go, all that I have seen clearly show that Obama has the lead without a doubt. If Obama loses, I do see him as a straight forward human being and will accept defeat. However, I feel that if Romney loses, he will blame anybody that he can, due to the nature of his attitude.

In my opinion Obama will win both the Electoral and Popular vote, seeing how well he preformed his debates. Mitt Romney has said things in his debated and contradicted himself giving the impression that he does not know what he is doing. If Obama wins Mitt Romney will be the first person to accuse him of Voter Fraud, because he is not the type of person to accept a loose.
